I wanted to create something really subtle and soft that represented that first dawn light. The moment we feel so delicate and fragile. When the day breaks and reminds us it's another day and our minds become clearer and less burdened. New hope and new beginnings.
This beautiful piece has been created with layer upon layer of soft muted colors and washes. A limestone powder paste has been scraped back and sanded. A coffee wash to give a suggestion of color. Followed by more washes of fluid white.A very soft and pretty piece.
 
This art work is sealed matte with UV resistant sealant.
It is float framed in natural pale raw wood and wired for hanging.
Signed and dated 2022 on back.
