Inspired again by my love of the english countryside and my love in childhood of collecting 'conkers'.
In the Autumn we would gather the fallen treasures from the horse chestnut trees, tear open the prickly casings to find the shiny dark brown chestnuts. We would then thread them onto shoelaces and swin them at our opponents conker to try to smash it. Great memories.

Art is sealed matte with UV resistant sealant.
Float framed in natural pale raw wood and wired for hanging.
Signed and dated 2022 on the back.
